While exploring Acadia National Park, this second study of the season’s grasses revealed a different kind of movement than the earlier image in the series. Here the grasses flow in overlapping layers, their warm tones broken by flashes of green and the occasional stem tipped in red.
The result feels almost musical — a visual rhythm of lines and color that shifts between order and spontaneity.
Scenes like this are easy to overlook. Yet when light, texture, and timing align, even a small patch of ground can reveal a surprising complexity.
