Another image from that October week in Maine. We were along one of the beaches in the area of Cushing (No, I didn’t take notes unfortunately), and the early afternoon clouds lent a very monochromatic tone to the scene. Not having the hoped-for fall color to create saturation, I found myself honing in on the shapes and forms that presented themselves as shades of grey. I have two frames, one vertical, and the other horizontal (Grey Atlantic #2) taken literally one minute apart.
There are similarities, of course, but each of the two images has its own sense of place. I don’t have a favorite, but maybe you will? If so, please let me know!
