Near the south end of Millennium Bridge, the structure rises cleanly over the Thames, drawing the eye directly toward the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

At twilight, the bridge becomes a study in line and movement. Its steel geometry narrows toward the cathedral, while a steady flow of pedestrians crosses between the two banks of the city.

I waited as people moved through the frame, watching for a moment when spacing and rhythm aligned. In a single frame, the balance settled—the cool tones of evening, the illuminated city beyond, and the quiet procession of figures crossing the span.

The photograph holds that intersection of structure and motion, where architecture provides order and human presence gives it life.
