While wandering through London one evening, I drifted away from a walking tour and found myself near the south end of Millennium Bridge.
The modern pedestrian bridge stretches across the Thames toward St. Paul’s Cathedral, its clean lines drawing the eye directly to the great dome rising beyond the river. As twilight settled over the city, pedestrians crossed the bridge in a steady rhythm, their movement bringing life to the geometric structure.
I stood for a few minutes watching the flow of people and waiting for the spacing of figures to fall into place. In one frame, the balance of architecture, color, and motion aligned—the cool evening light, the distant cathedral, and the small human stories unfolding across the bridge.
