Pond Boulder
Pond Boulder
This was also on my second trip to Wyoming with Sharon. We were coming into Jackson from the south when we saw a sign that intrigued us. We turned the rental car onto this road, which led us on a long journey along Union Pass, atop the Continental Divide in Bridger National Forest.
We stopped at one turnoff and explored around a small pond, complete with floating lily pads and surrounded by lush green grasses.
I was struck by a particular boulder and framed the composition with it positioned in the left center, peeking out from the strands of grass that seemed to be trying to cover it. The graceful curves in the composition, created by the water and grass, guide your eye on a little journey from the top of the frame down towards the highlighted stone.
