Photographed from Waterloo Bridge, this view looks west toward the London Eye, with Westminster Bridge, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament layered into the distance. The curve of the river and the geometry of the bridges create a natural visual rhythm, guiding the eye through the frame.
What drew me in was the quality of the light. As the sun dropped low, the entire scene shifted into a palette of gold—soft reflections on the Thames, warm highlights along the architecture, and a quiet glow that settled over the city.
Even in one of London’s busiest areas, there was a sense of stillness in that moment. The movement of the river, the structure of the bridges, and the presence of the skyline came together in a way that felt both timeless and fleeting.
