On a quiet morning in Hyde Park, I noticed two figures seated on a bench, each absorbed in their newspaper. They sat close together but entirely within their own worlds, turning pages as the early light filtered softly through the park.
Using a long lens, I isolated the scene from the surrounding paths and trees. The benches, the gentle symmetry of their posture, and the muted tones of the morning created a composition that felt both simple and quietly theatrical.
What struck me most was the stillness. In the middle of one of the world’s great cities, two people sat side by side, unhurried, sharing the same space without exchanging a word.
