Another image was captured during that week-long workshop in Maine. While it was to be all about capturing the fall colors, in actuality that autumn was nowhere near the most vibrant on record, and the week we were there tended to be more on the overcast side of things. But that did not stop me from capturing hundreds of images that I have returned to time after time.
How I wish I had notes, or better yet, the GPS system that I now have in my cameras. But all I knew was that this was in or near the vicinity of Acadia National Park. We had gotten up at an ungodly hour to be in place atop Cadillac Mountain for the rising sun. I did manage to capture a couple of usable images up there, but it was the drive down afterward that yielded me several images that are shared here on the website, this being one of them. My camera data does tell me that it was exposed at 1/16th of a second at f32 on my 70-200mm 2.8 lens, so that will have to suffice.
