I love texture, and am especially drawn to it in the architecture I find in Europe.
As I was winding my way through the cobblestoned streets, I looked up and saw the bland white sky reflected in the windows of this grand facade. The dark shadows behind the delicately detailed arches lent a nice counterpoint to the windows above. And I imagined the history that they had been witness to, and the unknown people that had looked out onto the Zurich streets from those windows.
