Yes, that Netflix—back when DVDs ruled, and entire teams packed and shipped discs to subscribers across the country.
A Moment Between Destinations
After a day’s work, we had dinner reservations in the Pebble Beach area. With time to spare, my client drove us on a bit of sightseeing. I was looking, he was navigating—and I honestly couldn’t tell you exactly where we ended up. But we weren’t far from the iconic Cypress Tree.
Light, Color, and a Perfect Flight
What I do remember is this: the late-day light, glowing with warmth; the dramatic clouds floating above; the contrast of sunlit rocks against a deep blue sea; and, as if on cue, a lone bird soaring straight through the frame. A gift of perfect timing.
