Collection: Meditations on Water-Quiet studies of water, reflection, and surface — where light reveals subtle patterns and movement.

Water alters a surface without changing its structure. Sand, stone, and still pools become layered through reflection and movement. In this collection, I am drawn to that transformation—the subtle shift that occurs when water passes across a landscape and briefly reorganizes what we see.

Rendered in black and white, these photographs rely on tone, contrast, and geometry rather than color. Reflections compress space; moving water becomes pattern; texture replaces scale. What remains is not spectacle, but clarity—a quiet tension between surface and depth.

Across coastlines, tidal flats, and quiet forest streams, the images explore moments when water leaves its temporary mark: a line carved in sand, a reflection suspended on still water, a cascade breaking gently across stone. Each photograph records a brief interval before the landscape changes again.
