Collection: Zurich in Black and White

Zurich reveals itself through restraint and structure.

Photographed at the close of winter, these images explore a city defined by stone façades, narrow streets, bridges, and the quiet movement of the River Limmat. Fog compresses space, architecture sharpens silhouette, and human presence becomes a measure of scale.

Rendered in black and white, the photographs rely on tone and geometry rather than color. The muted atmosphere clarifies form rather than obscuring it, allowing the city’s careful balance of structure, light, and movement to emerge.

What interested me most was not spectacle, but proportion—the quiet alignment of architecture, light, and human gesture within a confined urban frame.
